Glynn Gavin<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Glynn Cavin is the new director for Auburn Engineering Online and Continuing Education.<\/p>\n

As director, Cavin will oversee the long-range planning and manage the day-to-day activities of the graduate online program and continuing education office.<\/p>\n

Cavin arrives to Auburn from Troy University where he was the associate vice chancellor for TROY Online and was responsible for the operation and strategic direction of Troy\u2019s academic programs for more than 6,700 online students. Before Troy, Cavin served in the United States Air Force for 24 years. He earned his undergraduate degree in business management from the University of Louisiana \u2013 Lafayette.<\/p>\n

He earned a master\u2019s degree in transportation economics from the University of Tennessee and a doctoral degree in human resource education and workforce development.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe College of Engineering is extremely fortunate Glynn has chosen to join our online and continuing education office,\u201d said Jeff Fergus, associate dean of program assessment and graduate studies at the College of Engineering. \u201cHe brings a unique perspective, and has the knowledge and experience necessary to grow our graduate online and continuing education programs. I look forward to working with him to elevate Auburn Engineering Online and Continuing Education.\u201d<\/p>\n
