The Auburn University Samuel Ginn College of Engineering’s Office of Communications and Marketing was recently recognized for written content, earning four Southern Public Relations Federation (SPRF) Lantern Awards and two Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Best of District III Awards.

CASE and SPRF are professional associations that promote excellence in communications, public relations and institutional advancement through education, networking and recognition programs.

Both organizations annually recognize members’ work, spanning long-term and short-term campaigns, tactical materials, storytelling, publications, digital media and institutional initiatives. Entries are evaluated on their own merits by public relations practitioners across the country.

“These honors from CASE and SPRF, two of the most respected organizations in our profession, showcase the incredible talent of our communications and marketing team and the amazing stories our students, faculty and alumni have to tell,” said Austin Phillips, director of engineering communications and marketing. “To be recognized by these organizations is a testament to the impact of our storytelling of groundbreaking faculty research, innovative students, committed staff and alumni who are changing the world.”
