I’m a graduate student striving for a Ph.D. in Polymer and Fiber Engineering. The project I’m working on is making lignin fibers to produce very thin carbon fibers. The fibers can be used as sustainable materials to make supercapacitors. I’m advised by Dr. Maria Auad. The funding for this project comes from the NSF and USDA.
