\u201cThere\u2019s goodwill in this world, and you often receive the same goodwill back from others,\u201d said the doctoral student in computer science and software engineering. \u201cI\u2019ve carried the joy of helping others since childhood. Helping people brings me happiness,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Nallagatla is a vital asset to the college as a Cascade content systems management developer in the Office of Communications and Marketing. He ensures Auburn Engineering\u2019s digital presence runs smoothly by managing web content, troubleshooting issues, and \u201cstitching everything together when something breaks.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI help hold the website together,\u201d he said. \u201cI handle feature requests from communications and marketing and assist the department and administration with web solutions.\u201d<\/p>\n

Originally from Hyderabad, India, Nallagatla came to Auburn for his master\u2019s degree and found a supportive community that nurtured his academic and professional growth.<\/p>\n

\u201cAuburn teaches a unique hands-on approach,\u201d he said. \u201cWhat you learn here is directly applicable to industry, setting up a solid foundation. Once you enter industry, you become an expert in that field.
