Duke<\/strong>, associate dean for academics and alumni associate professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, participated in the NAE\u2019s fifth annual Frontiers of Engineering Education Symposium in October in Irvine, Calif. <strong>Brian S. Thurow<\/strong>, W. Allen and Martha Reed associate professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering, participated in the NAE\u2019s 2013 U.S. Frontiers of Engineering Symposium, a two-day event held in September in Wilmington, Del.<\/p>\n<p>The <a title=\"NAE Frontiers\" href=\"http:\/\/www.naefrontiers.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">NAE\u2019s Frontiers of Engineering<\/a> program brings together engineers from all industry disciplines, universities and federal labs to facilitate collaborative exchange, as well as promote the transfer of new techniques and approaches that will help to sustain and build U.S. innovative capacity.
