The award was given to an alumna as part of the eighth annual Women\u2019s Leadership Conference with the theme \u201cTies to the Past, Hope for the Future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ecm.eng.auburn.edu\/wp\/emag\/files\/2014\/11\/nelda.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-3211 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/ecm.eng.auburn.edu\/wp\/emag\/files\/2014\/11\/nelda-300x121.jpg\" alt=\"nelda\" width=\"300\" height=\"121\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ecm.eng.auburn.edu\/wp\/emag\/files\/2014\/11\/nelda-300x121.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ecm.eng.auburn.edu\/wp\/emag\/files\/2014\/11\/nelda-1024x413.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/ecm.eng.auburn.edu\/wp\/emag\/files\/2014\/11\/nelda.jpg 1140w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Lee served as an F-15 test program manager for Boeing and was the first female engineer in flight test engineering for McDonnell Douglas, as well as the first woman to fly the F-15 Eagle.
