Research Mission:
Polymeric materials are ubiquitous in our daily lives and are crucial to the advancement of advanced technologies from healthcare (i.e drug delivery, implant materials, anti-bacterials, etc.) to energy (i.e organic photovoltaics, fuel cells, lithium batteries, etc.).
We carry out fundamental and applied research aimed at exploring the relationships between polymerization chemistry, polymer architecture, and the resulting material properties. Knowledge of such fundamental structure-property relationships are crucial for advancing the thoughtful design of polymeric materials for targeted applications.
We have an opening for a funded Postdoc, info here: https://ecm.eng.auburn.edu/wp/polymerlab/efripostdoc
