Polymeric materials are ubiquitous in our daily lives and are crucial to the advancement of advanced technologies from healthcare (i.e drug delvery, implant materials, anti-bacterials, etc.) to energy (i.e organic photovoltaics, fuel cells, lithium batteries etc.). We carry out fundamental and applied research aimed at exploring the relationships between polymerization chemistry, polymer architecture, and the resulting material properties. Knowledge of such fundamental structure-property relationships are crucial for advancing the thoughtful design of polymeric materials for targeted applications.
