WHAT WE DO

Our group is pursuing new discoveries in science and technology, specifically in the areas of nano-structured polymers, nanocarbons, composites and the related applications in chemical vapor/liquid sensors, organic displays, fuel cells and alternative energy harvesting and storage.

We care about the energy and resources that the nature gifted to us, and the environment where we are living our daily life. To benefit the community through our research is the long term target of our group.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

• User-centered design of highly integrated sensor systems for law enforcement, medical and defense applications.
• Manufacturing of nanocellulose based sustainable nanocomposites for packaging and energy applications.
• Microwave initiated ultrafast nanomanufacturing for hierarchical, multifunctional nanomaterials and nanocomposites: carbon nanotubes, metal chalcogenides etc. for energy and catalysis applications.
• Multifunctional polymer coating and nanocomposites for anti-corrosion and anti-microbial applications.
• Conducting polymer based optically transparent and electrically conducting flexible coatings.
