Join us for the 2027 International Symposium on Aerospace Psychology.

May 18–21, 2027 at Auburn University

ISAP 2027 will convene at Auburn University in 2027. ISAP is a venue for research on human performance within aviation systems, and for design solutions tailored to human aptitudes and constraints. We welcome proposals on any topics within aerospace psychology, and on any basic or applied research that speaks to issues of human performance in socio-technical systems. Behavioral, neuroscientific, computational, and other approaches are all appropriate.

We are working on updating this website to reflect the updates for the 2027 conference. In the meantime, please email isap2027@auburn.edu if you have questions.

About the conference

ISAP was first convened by Richard Jensen at The Ohio State University in 1981. It meets for the purposes of:

Presenting the latest research on human performance problems and opportunities within aerospace systems

Envisioning design solutions that best utilize human capabilities for creating safe and efficient aerospace systems

Bringing together scientists, research sponsors, and operators in an effort to bridge the gap between research and application

Who should attend

Although the symposium is aerospace oriented, we welcome anyone with basic or applied interests in any domain to the extent that generalizations from or to the aerospace domain are relevant.
