By Air
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) is the most convenient airport for most attendees, located about 100 miles (roughly 1 hour 45 minutes by car) from campus. Note that Atlanta is in the Eastern time zone, while Auburn is in Central time — you’ll gain an hour driving into Alabama.
Groome Transportation runs a direct shuttle between ATL and Auburn, with stops at The Hotel at Auburn University & Dixon Conference Center and on campus. Reservations are recommended in advance.

Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport (BHM) is a closer alternative for some travelers, about 114 miles (roughly 2 hours) from Auburn. Rental cars, taxis, limo/shuttle service, and Uber are all available at BHM.
Auburn University Regional Airport (AUO) serves general aviation and is the closest option for attendees flying by private or charter aircraft, located just minutes from campus.
By Car
Auburn University is most directly accessed via Interstate 85 at Exit 51, which puts you onto College Street heading straight into downtown Auburn and campus.
- From Atlanta: Take I-85 South toward Montgomery; take Exit 51 and follow US-29/College Street south into Auburn.
- From Birmingham: Take I-20 East to I-85 South, then Exit 51 as above (or via US-280 East, connecting to AL-147/College Street).
- From Montgomery: Take I-85 North to Exit 51.
