Auburn alumnus and director of NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center Todd May was the guest speaker at Auburn University’s summer graduation ceremonies. May, ’90 materials engineering, joined NASA in 1991 and was appointed to his current position with NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in February. He was named the Distinguished Auburn Engineer in 2012 and has been selected as an inductee into the State of Alabama Engineering Hall of Fame Class of 2017. May joins other engineering alumni who have served as commencement speakers at the university in recent years, including Tim Cook, Melissa Herkt, Chris Moody and Jim Voss.
