Welcome

Group Picture of 2019 Young Alumni

The Auburn Engineering Young Alumni Council is here to help you find ways to become engaged with the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering. Whether you graduated this year, or within the last fifteen years, we want to make sure you know how to plug in with your department, program and fellow alumni!

My name is Molly Mathews, and I am the Executive Chair of the Young Alumni Council. I graduated from the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering in 2015 with a degree in industrial and systems engineering. It is my pleasure to tell you about our different programs, giving opportunities and networking events so that you can find your place as a young alumni.

Mentoring is an excellent way to connect with current students and help them as they take their next steps into their engineering fields. If you want to take your mentorship opportunities a step further, look to the 100+ Women Strong Program, the force to recruit, retain and reward women in engineering. Our college’s Center for Inclusive Engineering Excellence  is another way to connect with underrepresented students in engineering.

If you are looking for other ways to become engaged with the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering, our Young Alumni Council hosts mock interview daysalumni panels and networking events to get you plugged in to our vast alumni and student network.

Finally, giving opportunities to the college are plentiful and impactful. Tiger Giving Day is a great way to support individual student teams and projects. And our Engineering Eagle Society provides funds for students on an annual basis. If you are interested in Auburn Engineering’s major gift opportunities, the Office of Advancement is always there to help.

Thank you for your interest in Auburn Engineering’s Young Alumni Council! I hope you find a meaningful way to engage with the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering.

War Eagle!
